Addressing the climate crisis requires overcoming the current political and social fragmentation through the design and implementation of inclusive and redistributive climate policies, capable of building broad public support and ensuring that different social groups benefit from the opportunities these policies provide. In this regard, public action should adopt, as much as possible, a people- and place-based approach, taking into account the specific social, economic, territorial, and climatic conditions in which policies are implemented. This is essential to maximise their effectiveness not only in terms of emissions reductions, but also in terms of socioeconomic benefits.
Dieser Bericht fasst die Erkenntnisse einer Gruppe von zwölf Studierenden und jungen Berufstätigen zusammen, welche sie auf Studienreisen in Industriegebiete in Frankreich, Deutschland und Italien im Rahmen des Programms "Youth for Energy Futures" gesammelt haben.
